Position: SharePoint Developer
Location: Corporate Headquarters, Beavercreek, OH
Security Clearance Required: None Required
Position Type/Standard Work Hours: Contract/40 hours per week/On-site
Summary/Objective:
BTAS, Inc. is seeking a SharePoint Developer to provide professional support to our corporate headquarters. This role will work closely with internal operations teams to support the migration of developed sites from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 365 (GCC High).
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Creating, managing, and auditing SharePoint libraries
  • Perform maintenance of SharePoint environments through command line tools and leveraging PowerShell.
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation for Management, Systems and SharePoint Administrators.
  • Resolve incidents and problems relating to SharePoint and other Office 365 applications.
  • Build and secure scalable user interface applications within SharePoint.
  • Create Active Directory security groups with unique permission levels for managing SharePoint access.
  • Develop training processes, track roles, and create custom workflows.
  • Performing SharePoint user management and group management.
  • Developing solutions for business process automation.
  • Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint features and functionalities.
  • Design and develop custom SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, views, workflows, and scripts.
  • Promote user adoption through user and site manager training, consultation, and support of existing SharePoint functionality.
  • Provide quality assurance review of engagement processes and deliverables.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, provide support to the system's end-users, and work to find ways to modify or improve storage procedures.
  • Regularly interface with senior management to provide insight on project status, business requirements, functional design and remediation of risks/issues to avoid loss of business functionality during SharePoint transition effort.
  • Determine options and provide a coordinated approach to managing the planning of services performing the actual conversion or rebuilding of exiting forms, tools, and workflows to function in the new environment.
  • Perform other related duties needed to achieve project success.
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 6 years, Associate's with 10 years, or High School Diploma with 12 years.
  • Plus, five (5) years’ experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft products, software development, Microsoft Power apps, SharePoint Designer on-prem/Office 365.
  • Experience working with enterprise Active Directory environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Azure.
  • Experience working with unique organizational security policies and control implementations within IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft M365 and SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization).
  • Foundational knowledge around SharePoint servers and services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise the work of others.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.
Travel:
Very little.
